Owner/Operator/Therapist
Tyler Schuhly M.S., LPC, NCC
I have been involved in the mental health field since 2019 when I graduated from Cairn University in Langhorne, PA. At which time I finished my practicum and internship at the university’s counseling center, Oasis Counseling. I am a licensed professional counselor and a nationally certified counselor.
I utilize an eclectic and wholistic approach to therapy which means I utilize different theories and techniques based on each client’s diagnosis and the contributing factors to those diagnoses. I then choose the best approach that is backed by research to be effective in treating that issue. I also, view healing from the perspective of full-body health as opposed to a mental and physical health separation. As a Christian, I enjoy incorporating the client’s spiritual journey into sessions as well, which is done at the discretion of the client.
Therapist
Mari-Jan Sieradzki M.A.
As a Senior Chaplain, I have been trained in trauma care and crisis response and have been providing pastoral care/counseling for over 18 years. I have experience working with a wide range of concerns which include, but are not limited to, women’s issues, anxiety, depression, and other life stresses. I specialize in grief and loss. My approach in counseling is a holistic one which treats the spirit, soul and body.
I am also a certified Life Coach and Mental Health Coach. I earned a degree in Biblical Counseling and my master’s in Counseling.
I have created a variety of tools to facilitate an integrated approach of healing. I also have produced Sanctuary, a group of recordings that aid in experiencing God’s rest, relaxation, and mindfulness, as well as helping one to enter the presence of God. I have a passion for creating retreats and workshops designed to approach healing, in ways that cannot be addressed fully in the counseling setting.
I enjoy refinishing furniture, interior design, antiquing, and playing with my new granddaughter. I cherish time with family and friends. My husband and I are empty nesters and take pleasure in sharing our home with our well-loved pup, Sophie.
Therapist
Rae Sturtevant M.S.
I received an M.S. in Counseling from Cairn University in 2008 and have had experience counseling both individuals and groups. I have since added to my education through Pennsylvania Counseling Services’ training in Attachment Theory and Trauma Informed Therapy.
I enjoy working with teens, college students, and adults of all ages. Emotionally Focused Therapy is my primary roadmap for understanding people and their path for healing, but I also use a variety of approaches such as Psychodynamic Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Theory, and Holistic Counseling for the mind, body, and soul. Faith-based counseling is available to clients who wish to integrate it along with research-based approaches.
I offer warm and compassionate care, whether it be for anxiety, attachment trauma, codependency, chronic stress, coping skills, depression, difficulties with relationships, emotional regulation, life transitions, parenting, pregnancy, or perinatal depression.
I value the opportunity to hear people’s stories and walk along with them as they find a path forward. I believe that hope, healing, and a sure footing in life develop as people experience the care and support they need in difficult times. Counseling is a fantastic way to invest in yourself, expand your resilience, and find deeper joy! I would be honored to contribute to your journey!
I love traveling with my husband, educating and spending time with my four kids, in addition to spending other spare moments creating, reading, drawing, and writing.
Counseling Intern
Zachary Vincent
I have been involved in next-generation ministry for 15 years, working with elementary to high school students. I am currently a student counselor, working on my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
I believe everyone has an amazing story waiting to be found. Even when our lives are falling apart, our stories are still being written tomorrow isn’t always dictated by today. Our stories are unique in giving us value. My desire for any person that enters into counseling is that they are able to find their story and find the hope and joy in their story. I utilize a lot of cognitive behavioral techniques as well as assisting in emotional regulation. As a Christian counselor, I am open to exploring the client’s spiritual journey in our sessions if that is the desire of the client.
